W2UC - W2UC - W2UC - W2UC - W2UC

W2UC is the amateur radio station on the Union College Campus in Schenectady, NY. The station is dedicated to the memory of Ted Goble, K2HNW, who served as our advisor for many years. We are located in the Science and Engineering Building on the first floor, north wing. The room number is N106A. Just look for the vertical antenna on the roof at 42 49.09N 73 55.64W.

The history of the club goes back to 1925 when it operated with the call sign 2XQ and used the QSL card shown here:

We hold our annual open house on ReUnion Weekend, but visitors are welcome anytime. Next year the open house event will be on Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 12Noon to 1:00PM. Please join us. Email George, W2CSN, at williamg@union.edu for more information.

The station is maintained by the Union College Amateur Radio Society and is licensed by its trustee, Robert Leiden, K1UI.
