OVERVIEW for 2006: Thursday, June 22, Meet 8:30 PM at FD Site, inspect field, and layout site plan with spray paint. Friday, June 23, Meet 9AM at FD site/Equipment site for inventory and for staging equipment. Set up begins at 14:00 EDT as per rules. Saturday, June 24, setup equipment, and start operating at 14:00 EDT. Sunday, June 25, finish operating 14:00 EDT, takedown, tow, and and store equipment. Monday, June 26, walk through for field inspection. ANNUAL TASK LIST THINGS TO BRING: Setup Crew: work gloves, two adjustable wrenches, small sledge, and sunscreen. THURSDAY, Jun 22, ACTIVITIES Meet Thursday 8:30 PM at the Field Day Site - Tim, W2UI, has orange paint, measured string, and map to mark field layout, Tim, W2UI, adjusted tower separation to 115 feet. FRIDAY, Jun 23, ACTIVITIES Equipment Staging and Pre-Assembly Meet Friday 9 AM at the Storage Site - Joe, K2UF, Tim, W2UI - set for 2006, Paul, WY2F, Mike, KB2KXC, set for - 2006, Dennis, N2LBT. Wheeled Equipment and Box Trailer - tow to Field Day site as a convoy Please note that the antenna and generator are not trailers and do not need to be registered. See MV-274 form from NYSDMV. Note that if "wheeled equipment" is used to carry boxes, tools, or accessories, then it is a trailer and must be registered. Wheeled Radio Tower Tow Dennis, N2LBT, Joe, K2UF. Wheeled Generator - needs a new fuel pump, a fix on the exhaust manifold, and much TLC. Wheeled Generator - Service, Tow, and Operate. For maps to the site, the north field, (it is on the east side of Ridge Rd, at the latched and unlocked gate, just north of the Glenville Hill Fire Department Fire District 8) click here . Talk-in is provided on the 147.060 repeater. Briefly, go to the intersection of Church and Ridge Roads, then look northward for the radio towers! The degree and minutes reading from the GPS is N 42 53.638; W 73 59.980 and we are at an altitude of 864 feet or so.
